LeLutka, a virtual brand in Second Life®, started initially as Minnu Model Skins (MMS) in July of 2007 with designer Minnu Palen focusing on the production of glamour skins. Upon the successful release of generations 1 and 2, Thora Charron joined Minnu on August of 2007 adding the MMS HOMME line featuring men’s products. During the fall of 2008 MMS became LeLutka as part of a re-branding and renovation project and new expansion plan, including the official establishment of Lelutka Mode and LeLutka Beaute.

The year 2009 marked the beginning of a new adventure bringing diversity to LeLutka by adding designers to the team. As LeLutka continued expanding, the spring ’09 jewelry line was released, adding yet another line of products to the vast variety that composes LeLutka. Following the spring release, LeLutka Lingerie was added along with LeLutka Motion, bringing in new products featuring underwear garments and animated poses.

Later in 2009 LeLutka introduced ULTRA, which took the brand back to its origins. LeLutka designers wanted to experiment with shapes and forms within virtual world limitations. This experiment led to the creation of a line inspired by Edgar Allan Poe’s masterpieces of literature and artistic movements of macabre, mysticism and romanticism. More than just a fashion line, this new arrival displayed a concept of modern design clashing with the dark side in all of us. LeLutka Ultra was summarized as mystic, obscure and sexy with strong accents on individuality and uniqueness.

In December of 2009, LeLutka put together what some called the fashion show of the year, a show to introduce the ULTRA line to the public and a small group of media members of Second Life. The show was organized by the LeLutka management team along with the help of the KMAD team.

Today, LeLutka remains true to its vision of creating content that is realistic, top quality and up to the standards of today’s fashion. Known as one of the biggest and most successful brands in Second Life, and recognized by Linden Labs as one of the hottest shopping spots.
